We are pleased to announce that the second CEITEC PhD Retreat will take place in Telč from 20 to 21 April 2017. Similar to the first issue of the conference, it is a two-day event organized by students for students. The CEITEC PhD Retreat aims to bring together 90 PhD students from the fields of life sciences, material science, chemistry and physics and create a friendly and stress-free environment where the participants will be able to present and discuss their research and listen to talks by 7 internationally recognized speakers. 

All participants of the CEITEC PhD Retreat are kindly asked to submit a one-page abstract. The deadline for abstract submission is 28 February 2017 and the participants will be notified about the acceptance of the abstract by the end of March. There is a symbolical registration fee of 300 CZK (approximately 11€) and the conference is all-inclusive, i.e. transport to Telč, acommodation in shared rooms, meals and drinks are all covered. Upon registration, you will be immediately issued a receipt, which you can re-imburse with your department.

There will be approximately 20 time slots for student talks and the rest of the participants will be asked to present their research as a poster (A0 format). The students who will be selected to have a talk are, however, also ecouraged to bring a poster since a sufficient number of poster stands will be available.
