Location:

The winter school will take place in Villard-de-Lans – a nice small ski resort in the Vercors mountains nearby Grenoble. The school (both accommodation of participants and lectures) will be held in the Grand Hôtel de Paris, which is located in the center of Villard-de-Lans, with a good access to skiing areas around.

Details about accommodation reservation will be sent to registered participants after October 31, 2016.

Accommodation fee is included in the Participation fee:

Double room (per person): 532 EUR

Single room: 667 EUR

This fee comprises accommodation, full board meals, and conference materials.

Access to Villard-de-Lans:

To reach Grenoble, there are two main airports in the vicinity Lyon and Geneva. Both airports have regular bus and train connections to Grenoble. A more frequent connection to Grenoble is from Lyon airport:

To continue to Villard-de-Lans from Grenoble, there is a direct bus (lines 5100 and 5110). On 15 January 2017,
the bus departs from Grenoble's bus station (Gare routière de Grenoble) at 12:30, 17:00, 17:50, 18:00, 19:00. If you arrive in Grenoble later than this, please contact the organizers.

The Grand Hôtel de Paris is in the walking distance from the bus station in Villard-de-Lans (124, Place Chabert).
