CEITEC Introduced to the British Chamber of Commerce in Brno

On 12 October, representatives of the British Chamber of Commerce and the British Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Sian MacLeod, met with prestigious Brno companies, scientific-research institutions and Brno’s political leadership led by the Mayor of the City of Brno Roman Onderka. CEITEC Representatives introduced the ambition of the Central European Institute of Technology to become a European centre of excellence within a few years, its connection with the commercial sector and the possibilities of cooperation with both Czech and foreign companies.

The aim of the meeting was to introduce the city of Brno as an attractive destination for investments and to encourage entrepreneurship in the South Moravian Region. CEITEC – the Central European Institute of Technology – was represented as one of the major projects in the region that would significantly contribute to achieving this ambitious goal.

Representatives of the companies familiarized themselves with the strategies and direction of Brno, and set up new collaborative relationships with British investors. Participants agreed to organize workshops annually.
