“After having spoken to the representatives of other major projects I am sure that ninety-nice points which CEITEC received is the highest received,” says Tomáš Hruda, Director of CEITEC. “Now we are expecting a negotiation with the Ministry of Education. Thanks to a very good assessment we have nothing to worry about,” adds Hruda.
„Masaryk University has focused on the preparation of one project of the centre of excellence CEITEC, which will connect life and traditional sciences, and this strategy has seen to be right. We are pleased about the extraordinary success of the CEITEC project, which has been our priority from the start. The more we are pleased about the fact that the project of Regional scientific-research centre for low-cost plasma and nanotechnological surface treatment has succeeded too. For the priority axis focused on building infrastructure for tuition at universities we are now preparing another 5 projects for approximately 2 billion crowns“, says Petr Fiala, Rector of Masaryk University
“The CEITEC project has been our priority from the start and we are pleased that the Brno University of Technology will be a part of building a state-of the-art scientific centre,” said Karel Rais, rector of the Brno University of Technology. “CEITEC has intensified the cooperation with companies and will open new possibilities for not only Brno for the cooperation with foreign countries,” adds Rais.
There is a last step to be taken by CEITEC. “In June we would like to submit a project application to the officials in Brussels. We are very well prepared and we think it is realistic to get the final decision by the end of the year,” explains Hruda.
