Name: | nanoESI-Q-TOF MS |
Instrument: | TOF Impact II mass spectrometer (Bruker Daltonics) |
Location: | CEITEC Masaryk University |
Instrument description: | Mass spectrometer TOF Impact II (Bruker Daltonics) is high resolution Qq-Time-Of-Flight (UHR-QTOF) spectrometer. This device exceeds with outstanding dynamic range (five orders), high speed data acquisition (50 GBit/sec sampling technology) and very good resolution (over 50,000) which make it a suitable tool for analysis across the analytical chemistry especially biomarker research or identification of impurities. In our laboratory is used for routine identifications of proteins in biological samples. Due to high speed data acquisition the spectrometer is suitable also for label free and label based quantification including utilization of data independent acquisition (DIA) techniques. Further development and application of this technique in the analysis of proteomic sample of diverse origin is one of the goals of our lab. |
