Name: | SPR biosensor BiaCore T200 |
Technology / Methodology: | Biomolecular characterization and interaction |
Location: | CEITEC Masaryk University |
Instrument description: | Biacore T200 is a molecular interaction analysis system monitors real-time, label-free interaction ranging from ions to viruses. The system offers a powerful, versatile solution for obtaining the highest quality kinetic, affinity, concentration, specificity, selectivity, and thermodynamic data and can be used for multiple applications, from early research to drug discovery and development. In the arrangement, one of the interactants is immobilized on the sensor chip surface, while the other is passed over that surface in solution. The increased sensitivity in Biacore T200 enables work on extremely low immobilization levels, returning cleaner data by avoiding artifacts from effects such as crowding, aggregation, or mass transport limitations. The system supports 96- and 384-well microplates, is it able to run up to 48 hours unattended operation and analyze up to 384 samples per run. Temperature control of sample compartment, analysis temperature range 4°C to 45°C. Integrated buffer degasser ensures data quality at elevated temperatures. Built-in buffer selector enables up to four different buffers to be tested at one time. Sample can be recovery for further identification. Measurement at BiacoreT200 is performed by users themselves. |
