HR Department

Scope of activities

The HR Department is in charge of a comprehensive agenda of human ressources and wages for the employees of CEITEC MU. The key activities in other areas include selecting high-quality candidates to fill job vacancies, preparing and processing HR-related documentation necessary for employing foreigners, staff coverage of projects, organisation of mandatory trainings, processing of employee benefits etc. The division co-operates on providing favourable working conditions in order to create the best possible environment for the cutting-edge research work of our scientists.

  • operates as a central point of contact within CEITEC MU (e.g. Registration Office, HR Department) and outside the University (e.g. embassies, ministries, local authorities)
  • supports all international staff employees before/upon your arrival, during and after your stay support service includes:
    • - Entry and residence permits: all necessary information before/upon arrival and during the stay in the Czech Republic.
    • - Accommodation: information, advice and assistance for the accommodation search.
    • - Life in Brno: information and advice regarding general issues on everyday life in Brno (e.g. bank account, telephone, internet, public transport, driving license/car, foreign language and sports classes, multilingual doctors).
    • - Activities in Brno: recommendations and tips for recreational activities and leisure time in Brno and the surrounding area.
