Understanding of the basic functions and life processes at the molecular and cellular level requires atomic resolution information on complex molecular machineries. Integrative structural biology combines data obtained by progressive high-resolution methods such as single-crystal X-ray diffraction, small angle X-ray scattering, nuclear magnetic resonance, and cryo-electron microscopy and tomography with modern methods of molecular modelling, theoretical chemistry, and bioinformatics to gain insight into their structure and functions. The workshop Integrated Approaches to Structural Biology will present recent developments and the state-of-the-art results obtained by prominent European scientists. The workshop is open to all students and researchers and is part of a regular NCBR seminar series (CC060)
