Strategic Partnerships

Strategic partnerships are part of a wider CEITEC internationalisation strategy. Strategic partnerships are concluded with leading international universities, research organisations and institutional and industrial partners, with the aim of teaming up with the best in class and improving science conducted within CEITEC. To be effective, international engagement needs to operate at many levels with many types of institutions. Most successful partnerships are founded on strong connections between people. The bottom up approach and cooperation driven by organisation unit and students is the key to successful and fruitful partnerships.

Our partnerships involve various forms of cooperation – international mobility (exchanges of staff on all levels of seniority), joint research projects, organisation of conferences, workshops and summer schools, joint publications, use of CEITEC research infrastructure, etc.

Some partnerships have a greater concentration of connections. We identify these as strategic partners. Our strategic partners are located around the world and include the following regions and institutions.

The International Office together with the Technology Transfer Office work to leverage the spirit of collaboration by identifying and cultivating public and private partnerships while building and enhancing CEITEC's reputation as a world-class research institute.

These pages will help you find out more about some of our key partnerships and collaborations here at CEITEC.
