Behavioural and Social Neuroscience - Milan Brázdil |
Bio: I studied Psychology for both my bachelor and master 's degrees at Masaryk University. Currently I am a Ph.D. student in Neuroscience at CEITEC (Masaryk University).
Research Interests: My field of interest is within social and affective neuroscience. Specifically I am interested in studying the brain mechanisms underlying emotional behaviors and their connection to the social aspect of human lives. Currently I am focused on researching neural circuits that are involved in separation-distress and human sadness processes and their possible attenuation mechanisms with looking for possible linkages to psychiatric disorders. My research methods include simultaneous EEG/fMRI, skin conductance measurement as well as various psychological assessment methods.
