Main Activity

Scanning probe microscopies for imaging of biological samples - tissue slices, cells, single biomolecules as nucleic acids and proteins. Studies of affinity interactions at the molecular level.

Unique Features

  • Visualization and studies of samples using atomic force microscopy (AFM) both in dry state and in liquid

  • AFM combined with other techniques: electrochemistry, optical and confocal fluorescence microscopy

  • Nanolithography, nanomechanical manipulations, ink-jet based deposition

  • Preparation of samples for AFM

  • AFM measurements, statistical analysis and data filtration

  • Production and bioconjugation of nanoparticles
