Dettenhofer’s priority is to make CEITEC a significant centre for science and education, which will be able to attract and retain top scientists. His ambition is to deepen cooperation with successful international research organisations and make CEITEC a part of the world network of recognised scientific centres. Under his leadership CEITEC will continue in the evaluation of scientific performance by a team of independent international experts. He wants to open CEITEC to international research projects, and to improve doctoral and post-doctoral education. He will aim to increase regional cooperation between academia and industry, and stimulate the interest of local and foreign investors with the intention of supporting an environment for creating innovative projects.
